Old Fashion - Jonesy's
The old fashioned is a cocktail made by muddling sugar with bitters and water, adding whiskey (typically rye or bourbon), and garnishing with an orange slice or zest and a cocktail cherry. It is traditionally served with ice in an old fashioned glass (also known as a rocks glass).
Ingredients
- Bourbon (1 oz)
- Cherry (1 oz)
- Cherry Juice (1 oz)
- Orange Slice (1 oz)
- Soda Water (1 oz)
Steps
- Fill small bucket with ice and pour 2 oz Cherry Juice.
- Add 2 oz Bourbon.
- Top with soda water.
- Garnish with a Cherry and Orange Slice.
Notes
Jonesy's which uses the Cherry Juice, verses a Terry's which uses a real Cherry and and Orange Twist muddled.
